ExecuTech Strategic Consulting is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist Lead (Key) to support the Global Solutions Management Operations (GSM-O) I/II contract, which provides support services for the operation, defense, and sustainment of the Department of Defense Information Network/Defense Information System Network.

As a Configuration Management Specialist Lead (Key), you will be performing the following responsibilities:

Duties: Responsible for configuration management planning. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. Responsible for configuration planning.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software and related documentation.
• Responsible for configuration change control.
• Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
• Responsible for configuration status accounting.
• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration.
• Responsible for configuration audits. Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met by the as-built software.
• Supports software quality assurance process audits.
• Supports other GMS-O priorities and tasks as directed.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience applying CM principles to analyze CM requirements and develop CM processes within a system-of-systems infrastructure context under modern architecture development, collaborative/capability services, and incremental acquisition development constructs.
• Experience infrastructure programs or similar large, diverse capability infrastructure(s).
• Familiarity with CM aspects of the Department of Defense (DOD) acquisition processes for systems, software, and hardware under the DOD Architecture Foundation (DODAF).
• Experience and/or familiarity with configuration management standards.
• Understand CM / SE process for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life.
• Familiarization with Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 3741.01 and DoD Military Handbook Configuration Management Guidance.
• Knowledge of C3 systems and operational / analytical experience in nuclear/strategic systems.

Desired Skills: Broad knowledge and expertise with configuration management as implemented in DoD/OSD and associated hardware, software, processes, procedures, and quality control.

Education: Bachelors degree desired.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 6 Years practical experience with configuration management in support of DoD/OSD.

Clearance: Top Secret clearance
